Celebrations and Summertime Vibes
Happy June Friends! Wait did I just say that?!
I feel like May just started and now its over! I cant believe we are putting away May gray sweaters and pulling out the shorts and flip flops, officially.
Time goes by so quickly and it makes me remember to be grateful for every moment, every lesson, every experience and every celebration.
Speaking of CELEBRATIONS… “Holy Party!” We had a time on Saturday! I’m still on an absolute high and too-much-fun-hangover. Thank you to all that came out to support my birthday celebration fundraiser for The OKC. Forty Greight was a huge success and so much fun!! We had so many people come out for a great time. We definitely brought the FUN and you brought the FUNDS.
Together we raised $22,500.00.
Our goal is $48,000.
While we didn’t reach our goal yet, we can still get there with your help! Remember, our goal is to introduce the first-ever OKC education and disaster relief food trailer!
OKC Food Trailer Mission
With the One Kitchen Collaborative Trailer we’ll be able to get right into the heart of our communities and show up at events to teach zero-waste practices, nutrition and preservation. As an information trailer, we’ll use it to spread education and teach basic kitchen skills to youth. The trailer will also aid in disaster relief providing nutritious meals to people in need. Finally we will use the truck for catering events bringing our mission to your business, your events, your party’s and celebration. And… we’ll be able to take our fundraising on the road to share and raise support for our impact locally – and beyond!
We are so grateful for all the tickets and tables purchased, the donations, volunteers, the amazing OKC team and beautiful El Corazon Facility without you all we wouldn’t have had such an amazing event.
We had so many people donate and help – I’m overwhelmed with emotions.
Ashleys Party Rental who donated all the linens and rentals for our event.
Coomber Winery for their generous donation of wine.
Flowers By Azalea who rocked our organic and beautiful center pieces.
Living Tea Kombucha donating their tasty booch.
Beach House Winery for all their help.
Camp Coffee Company
Hokkaido Bread Company
South O Brewing
Heart Art Media
Endless thanks and appreciation for all the musical guest who all donated their talents and time – plus, our awesome sound team.
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

On a side note, I wanted to give an extra thank you to Crystal Johnson, Mike Perez and Felix Alcaide my OKC directive team – without them no matter how many donations, musicians or people supporting us – this event would have never happened.
I’m sorry this was such a long winded thank you but some things cannot be rushed.
With a little more help I know we can get to our goal. Every little bit makes a difference, Friend. It takes u & i to spell and be community.
